The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
The following has been reported to the police.
On Thursday, July 16, 2020, at approximately 1355 hours, inside 847 Prospect Avenue (telecommunications store), a 29-year-old male employee was serving an unidentified male posing as a customer wanting to purchase a phone.
The male proceeded to simulate a weapon, demanded a new cell phone and threatened to shoot the employee.
The employee complied and the male fled the location with a $400 cell phone.
The employee was not injured as a result of this incident.
