Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached video wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within confines 40th Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 11.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 1257 hours, at the 138th Street/Grand Concourse subway station, a 30-year-old female was riding a southbound “5” train when and unidentified male snatched her cell phone and fled the station.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
