The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following male in the attached video wanted for questioning in connection to an assault within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx.
The following has been reported to police.
On Friday, October 04, 2019 at approximately 1635 hours, in front of 1587 Thieriot Avenue (grocery / bodega), a 63-year-old male victim was exiting the location when unidentified male slashed the victim in the face with a sharp object. There was no previous encounter between the victim and male prior to the incident. The male fled in unknown direction.
The victim was treated at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center and received stitches for a laceration to the nose.
A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.
