The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the female depicted in the attached photos wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 48 Precinct in Bronx / Transit District #12.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at approximately 2053 hours, while onboard the ‘2’ train at the East 180 Street and Morris Park Avenue subway station, a 40-year-old female victim received a text message from her bank notifying her of purchases totaling approximately $745 made using her HSBC credit card. It was at this time the victim realized she was not in possession of her credit card.

The individual is described as an adult female, with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing all black clothing and a black baseball cap with the NY Yankee logo in pink.

Surveillance photos of the female individual were taken inside a Foot Locker retail location located at 1460 Broadway (Manhattan), where the stolen credit card was used, and are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782).
