On Saturday, December 1, 2018, 2018 at approximately 11:37 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female on the roadway at Riverdale Avenue and West 263 Street within the confines of the 50 Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, police discovered an 89-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive with body and leg trauma lying on the roadway. EMS responded and transported the female to Saint Barnabas Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
An investigation revealed that the 89-year-old female was crossing Riverdale Avenue from east to west when the 35-year-old female operating a 2015 GMC Terrain west on West 263 made a left turn onto southbound Riverdale Avenue striking the pedestrian.
