On Saturday, May 11, 2024, at approximately 2253 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at 690 Allerton Avenue, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
