Help Identify The Murderer Of Brian Thompson, 50

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the below-listed murder.

Details are as follows.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at approximately 0640 hours, police officers responded to a 911 call reporting a male, shot in front of 1335 Avenue of the Americas, within the confines of the Midtown North Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 50-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the chest.

EMS responded and transported the male to Mt. Sinai West in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

A combined reward in the amount of $10,000: up to $3,500 payable by Crime Stoppers upon arrest and indictment. $6,500 payable by NYPD upon arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the listed crime.
