On Friday, April 14, 2023, at approximately 1030 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided, unconscious male, inside of an apartment, located in a residential building at 1463 Hoe Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 48-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, lying face up on the bathroom floor, with the obvious signs of trauma observed.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The Medical Examiner has deemed the death a homicide, per compression of the neck.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
