On Friday, February 07, 2020, at approximately 2044 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress inside of 2396 Valentine Avenue, Apt. 18, within the confines of the 46th Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male outside of the apartment, unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to the chest. A 60-year-old male was also discovered with a slash wound to the face.
EMS responded to the location and transported both males to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where the 32-year-old male was pronounced deceased and the 60-year-old male was listed in stable condition, and placed in custody.
A weapon (knife) was recovered in the vicinity of the incident location and the investigation remains ongoing.
