Bronx Woman Charge With Weapon Possession On Visit To Groveland Correctional Facility

A Bronx woman was ordered held on $10,000 bail following an investigation into prison contraband at Groveland Correctional Facility, according to State Police.

Jasmine Adorno, 36 of Bronx, NY, was charged during an October 22, 2017 visit with first-degree introduction of dangerous contraband to prison, a class D felony; and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use.

Adorno was arraigned and remanded on $10,000 bail.
