Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached video wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 11.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to the police that on Sunday, June 09, 2019 at approximately 2230 hours, a 26-year-old female victim was sitting in the mezzanine area of the Burnside Avenue subway station when an unidentified male snatched the victim’s cell phone from her hand. The male proceeded to run out of the station, to the street in unknown direction.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
