The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individuals depicted in the attached surveillance photos in connection to an attempted burglary that occurred within the confines of the 43th Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 2240 hours, two unknown males climbed a fire escape to an apartment building, located in the vicinity of Newbold Avenue and Olmstead Avenue, before attempting to open a locked apartment window with pry bars. The individuals were unsuccessful and fled the location without any property.

Surveillance photographs of the suspects are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stopperswebsite or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
