A hit-and-run driver killed a pedestrian just yards away from a Bronx church Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Cops found the 49-year-old victim at about noon, unconscious on the ground on Macy Pl. at Rev. Ricardo Tanon Ave. — across the street from the United Church in Longwood.
Medics took him to Lincoln Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.
Police have not yet released his name.
Cops are looking for a dark-colored sports utility vehicle that left the scene of the crash.
