On Monday, October 12, 2020, at approximately 1837 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot inside of 1486 Vyse Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival police observed a 31-year-old male, who was unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 31-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Friday, November 06, 2020, at 0710 hours, within the confines of the 42 Precinct.

- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal possession of a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
