On Sunday, February 26, 2023, at approximately 1324 hours, police responded to a 911 call of shots, fired at the intersection of Bathgate Avenue and E. 183rd Street, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted in regards to the above-listed homicide.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at approximately 1324 hours, in front of 526 E. 183th Street, an unknown individual had a dispute with a 25-year-old male victim. The individual proceeded to display and discharge his firearm at the victim, striking him multiple times, causing his demise. The individual fled the location by foot on Bathgate Avenue.

The sought individual is described as an adult male in his mid-40s, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing 175 lbs.

He was last seen wearing all-black clothing, a black-and-blue coat and a black fanny pack.
