On Friday, January 9, 2026, at approximately 1835 hours, New York City Police Department (NYPD) police officers responded to a 911 call of an assault in front of 1500 Bryant Avenue, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival officers observed a 34-year-old male with multiple stab wounds throughout the body.
EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
