The boy was in stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center early Sunday, and the police were seeking the driver of the green Nissan Pathfinder that hit him.
A neighbour’s private security camere caught a glimps of the child playing on the street and the speeding driver and his car. Police estiamtes the car was going at about 60 miles per hour.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
