A teenager sprayed chemicals on an elderly man during a seemingly random attack in Bronx on Monday, police said.
An 87-year-old man was approached by the teen at a South Bronx intersection about 11:45 a.m. Monday.
Police said the teen sprayed him in the face with a chemical in the vicinity of East 149th Street and Brook Avenue.
The teen sprayed the man twice before fleeing.
After the attack, the man was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated and released.
The teen is described as black, about 16 years old, 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds.
