The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a grand larceny, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Monday, November 01, 2021, at approximately 2005 hours, at the northwest corner of Webster Avenue and E. 188th Street, a 38-year-old female victim was walking southbound on Webster Avenue when an unknown male approached her from behind and forcefully removed an iPhone 12 from her hand, before running eastbound on E. 188th Street to parts unknown.
There were no reported injuries regarding this incident.
The individual is described as an adult male, Black, in his 40’s, approximately 5’02” tall, weighing 130 lbs., with a medium complexion and short dark hair.
He last seen wearing jeans, white sneakers, black baseball cap and a multi-colored jacket.
