The Internet Will Destroy Islam – Here Is Why

For fourteen centuries Islam survived by controlling information. Imams, family pressure, state power, and social terror determined what Muslims were permitted to know about their own religion and what non-Muslims were allowed to learn. That monopoly is finished. The Internet has placed the full record in public view, and the record is damning.

Islam is not a misunderstood faith. It is a comprehensive system built on a false prophet, a contradictory book, and a political program of domination. Anyone with an Internet connection can now examine the primary sources and reach the same conclusion. The claims of divine origin collapse under ordinary scrutiny. The psychological effect is severe. A religion that claims perfect preservation, finality, and moral superiority cannot easily survive open comparison with its own foundational documents. When the claims and the texts no longer match, belief erodes for Muslims of every age and for non-Muslims who finally see the unfiltered evidence.

The Information Monopoly Is Broken

Before the Internet, a questioning person in Cairo, Lahore, Jakarta, or even Minneapolis had almost no independent access to the full Islamic corpus. The local mosque controlled the narrative. Family honor reinforced silence. Apostasy carried social and, in many places, legal consequences. Critical hadiths stayed buried. Embarrassing verses were explained away. Historical accounts of Muhammad’s life were sanitized. That structure is finished.

Today any person can type a single question into a search engine and pull up Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, the Sirah, classical tafsirs, and the opinions of major scholars in seconds. He can watch debates. He can examine the timeline of Muhammad’s marriages, the treatment of critics, the rules of warfare, and the doctrine of abrogation without a gatekeeper standing between him and the text. What he finds is not the polished version sold in Western interfaith panels. It is the primary material itself. The monopoly is gone, and it is not coming back.

The Core Problem: A False Prophet & A False Book

Muhammad claimed to be the final messenger of God. The Internet makes it possible to test that claim against the historical and textual record. The result is not ambiguous.

The Quran contains clear historical, scientific, and logical errors. It confuses Mary the mother of Jesus with Miriam the sister of Moses. It describes the sun setting in a muddy spring. It presents embryology that does not match observable reality. It repeats stories that contradict earlier scriptures while claiming to confirm them. A book that makes false statements about the physical world and history cannot be the perfect, eternal speech of an all-knowing God. It is a human product of the seventh century.

The character of Muhammad himself is equally decisive. The most authoritative Islamic sources record that he married Aisha when she was six and consummated the marriage when she was nine. They record his ownership of sex slaves, his ordered assassinations of critics and poets, his participation in raids for plunder, and his approval of the execution of entire groups. These are not hostile inventions. They are found in Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and the classical biographical literature that orthodox Islam itself accepts. A man who behaved this way cannot be a moral exemplar sent by a holy God.

The Islamic Dilemma

One of the clearest logical traps now circulating widely online is known as the Islamic Dilemma.

The Quran repeatedly claims to confirm the previous scriptures — the Torah and the Gospel. Yet those earlier scriptures contradict the Quran on the most fundamental points: the nature of God, the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, the deity of Christ, and the means of salvation.

If the earlier scriptures are true, then the Quran is false because it contradicts them.
If the Quran is true, then the earlier scriptures it claims to confirm must also be true — which again renders the Quran false because of the contradictions.

Either way, the Quran cannot be true. This dilemma is simple, powerful, and devastating. Millions of people are now encountering it for the first time through videos, articles, and debates that did not exist in previous generations. Once seen, it is difficult to unsee.

Taqiyya & The Strategy Of Deception

Islam does not require permanent honesty toward non-believers. The doctrine of taqiyya permits deception when it serves the interests of the faith or the safety of Muslims. Related concepts allow strategic lying in war, in dealings with polytheists, and in situations of weakness. This is not a fringe opinion. It is classical jurisprudence.

The practical effect is that public statements made by Muslim leaders in Western countries often differ sharply from internal teaching. Soft language about peace and coexistence is deployed where Muslims are weak. The harder doctrines of supremacy and eventual dominance are taught where they hold power or feel secure. The Internet now makes both sets of statements searchable side by side. The contradiction is no longer deniable.

Jihad In All Its Forms

Jihad is not limited to personal spiritual struggle. The classical sources divide it into military, political, and demographic forms.

Military jihad is openly commanded in the Quran against those who do not believe. Verses call for fighting Jews and Christians until they pay the jizya in submission. Other verses command killing polytheists where they are found. The historical record of early Islamic expansion matches these commands.

Political jihad includes the use of democratic processes in non-Muslim countries. High birth rates combined with migration and bloc voting are treated by some ideologues as a long-term method of gaining power without immediate open warfare. The goal remains the same: the eventual supremacy of Islamic law.

Demographic expansion is not neutral. In multiple Western countries the fertility differential is real and sustained. Combined with chain migration and resistance to assimilation, it produces parallel societies that demand the application of sharia norms. This is not organic cultural exchange. It is a strategy with doctrinal roots.

First-Cousin Marriage, Birth Defects, And Cognitive Consequences

A further structural problem receives far less public attention than it deserves. Rates of first-cousin and other close-relative marriage remain extremely high across large parts of the Muslim world. Decades of medical research link this practice to elevated rates of birth defects, genetic disorders, and reduced average cognitive ability in affected populations.

Lower average IQ and higher rates of developmental problems create fertile ground for simplistic, authoritarian, and violent ideologies. Fanaticism spreads more easily in populations where critical thinking is statistically harder to sustain. This is not a matter of race. It is a matter of measurable genetic and social patterns reinforced by religious and cultural norms that encourage consanguineous marriage.

In the UK, the Pakistanis comprise 3% of population, yet they account for 1/3 of the child birth defects due to incest. The Internet is making the medical data and the social consequences harder to ignore.

The Status Of Women

The Quran and the hadith literature assign women a subordinate and often degraded status, equal kr worse to that of a domestic animal. A husband may beat his wife. A woman’s testimony is worth half that of a man in financial matters. Women inherit half the share of men. Hell is described as predominantly female because of their ingratitude. Men are permitted multiple wives and an unlimited number of sex slaves captured in war.

The sunnah records Muhammad’s own practice of child marriage, multiple concurrent wives, and the sexual use of captives. These are not later corruptions. They are the model that orthodox Islam holds up as perfect. Any society that implements these rules produces measurable harm to women. The internet makes the primary texts available to Muslim women themselves. Many are reading them and leaving.

Apostasy, Blasphemy, & The Murder Of Opponents

Leaving Islam is a capital offense in classical sharia. The hadith literature is explicit. The same system prescribes death for certain forms of blasphemy. Critics of Muhammad in the early period were assassinated with his approval. That pattern has continued into the modern era through formal legal systems in some countries and through informal violence in others.

A religion that cannot tolerate peaceful disagreement or exit is not a spiritual path. It is a totalitarian political system wearing religious clothing. The internet has made both the legal rulings and the historical examples impossible to hide.

Sharia: No Separation Of Mosque & State

Islam does not recognize a legitimate secular sphere. Sharia claims authority over criminal law, family law, finance, warfare, and personal conduct. There is no classical doctrine of lasting separation between religious and political power. The ideal remains a state ordered by Islamic law.

This is why Muslim-majority countries that take the sources seriously produce legal systems that punish apostasy, restrict non-Muslims, and enforce unequal rights. It is also why Muslim communities in the West repeatedly generate demands for parallel legal structures. The demand is consistent with the doctrine.

Violence Against Jews, Christians, And Non-Believers

The Quran contains repeated calls to fight those who do not believe. Specific animosity toward Jews appears in multiple passages and is reinforced in the hadith. Christians are to be fought until they submit and pay the jizya. Polytheists face still harsher treatment. These are not metaphorical verses about inner struggle. The earliest Muslim community understood them as commands for real warfare and applied them accordingly.

Modern attempts to reinterpret these passages as purely defensive or historical require discarding the traditional understanding held for over a thousand years. The internet allows readers to examine both the verses and the classical commentaries without mediation.

What Muslims & Non-Muslims Are Now Discovering

The issues that surface most often are not obscure academic disputes. They are central.

Muhammad’s marriage to Aisha, consummated when she was nine according to the most authoritative hadith collections, is no longer a rumor whispered by enemies. It is in the sources. The permission for sex with captive women appears in the Quran itself. The doctrine that a Muslim who leaves the faith may be killed is not a modern extremist invention; it is classical jurisprudence rooted in the tradition. The treatment of Jews and Christians as second-class subjects under the dhimma system is historical fact, not Western propaganda.

These are not selective quotations. They are the texts that Islamic orthodoxy has affirmed for centuries. The difference is that ordinary Muslims of every age and ordinary non-Muslims can now read them without mediation.

Even internal Muslim scholarship has begun to fracture under the pressure. When prominent figures such as Yasir Qadhi acknowledge “holes in the narrative” regarding the compilation and preservation of the Quran, the old confidence that the book is letter-perfect from the time of Muhammad becomes harder to maintain. Once that confidence cracks, other claims follow.

Apostasy Is No Longer Rare

The visible result is a rising tide of private and public apostasy. Surveys in Western countries already show significant percentages of people raised Muslim no longer identifying with the faith. In the Muslim world the numbers are harder to measure because of social and legal risk, yet the online evidence is overwhelming. Forums, anonymous accounts, and encrypted channels are filled with men and women of all ages who describe the same sequence: curiosity, research, shock, and departure.

This is not a Western plot. It is the predictable outcome of unrestricted access to information. Christianity faced its own printing-press crisis five hundred years ago and adapted through reformation and counter-reformation. Islam has no equivalent mechanism for open, sustained self-critique. Its foundational claims of finality and perfection leave little room for revision once the sources are public.

Dawah Cannot Compete

Islamic outreach still relies on selective presentation and emotional appeals. Online, that approach fails. Every polished dawah video is met within hours by point-by-point rebuttals that cite the same sources the dawah speaker claims to honor. The audience can check the references. They do.

The result is an asymmetric contest. Traditional authority depends on controlling the information environment. The internet removes that control. Once removed, it cannot be restored. Dawah that once succeeded in closed information spaces collapses when the full textual record is only one search away.

Christianity Welcomes The Hard Questions

Christianity has been criticized and attacked for centuries. We welcome it. We like the hard questions. They force us to dig deeper, research more, and come out stronger. That is why, in the free West, the Christian faith has stood every test and remains alive and resilient.

With Islam the default response is still threats and violence, never sustained reasoned dialogue. That is the biggest difference. The internet is the hardest test Islam has ever faced, and it is failing the test in full public view.

Many Muslims already believe in God. What they are now discovering online is both the truth about Islam and the truth about Christianity. They are encountering the Islamic Dilemma, the historical record of Muhammad, the internal contradictions of the Quran, and the person of Jesus Christ at the same time. Christ is King, and a growing number of them are turning to Him.

The Long-Term Trajectory

No one should expect sudden mass conversion or the overnight disappearance of a religion with more than a billion adherents. Social pressure, family ties, and political power still keep many people inside the fold. What the Internet produces is something more durable: a growing class of people who know the texts, no longer believe the official story, and are no longer afraid to say so.

That knowledge spreads. Children of the current generation of doubters will grow up without the same inherited certainty. In open societies the process accelerates. Even in closed ones, VPNs and encrypted apps continue to punch holes in the wall.

The Internet does not need to argue that Islam is false. It only needs to make the primary sources available. The sources do the rest.

Islam’s central claims — perfect preservation of the Quran, the moral perfection of Muhammad, the divine origin of sharia, the superiority of Islamic civilization — do not survive contact with the open record. The Internet has made that contact permanent and global.

A system built on falsehood and coercion cannot indefinitely survive unrestricted access to its own foundational documents. The documents are now available. The consequences are already visible and will continue to expand.
