Police have still not given up on a case involving the death of a young girl in 1991.
Authorities reminded the public Tuesday that a $12,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction on the 22nd anniversary of the “Baby Hope” case.
The unsolved murder began when a child was found dead inside a picnic cooler with cans of Coca-Cola near the Henry Hudson Parkway.
The girl is believed to have been between 3 and 5 years old, and tests show she had been sexually abused.
Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.
