The sound of bagpipes filled the air as Bronx residents kicked off their annual Veterans Day Parade in Throgs Neck.
Veteran Frank Parisi was named the new grand marshal of the parade.

“Just to be a part of this community, to have grown up here and to be able to kind of pay it back by being a part of this ceremony is just an incredible experience for me,” he says.
