Two men were arrested Thursday in Saratoga Springs in connection with the sale of crack cocaine, according to Saratoga Springs police.

Shawn Whitman, 32, of Saratoga Springs and Richard Powell, 25, of Bronx were arrested on felony charges, authorities said.

Police charged Powell with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, including one count of possession with intent to sell.

Whitman was charged with criminal nuisance, and police allege Whitman allowed crack cocaine to be sold from his trailer on Zephyr Lane. The arrests were made after police investigated tips from community members about suspicious activity taking place at the residence.

Both men were arraigned and then sent to Saratoga County Jail.
