On Sunday, January 06, 2018 at 0350 hours police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 800 Soundview Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx / PSA 8 (Monroe Houses).
Upon arrival, police observed a 29-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS transported the male to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation remains ongoing.
