The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted for a murder, which occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in theBronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Friday, July 22, 2022,at approximately 0425 hours, in front of 402 Claremont Parkway, a 19-year-old male victim, operating a 2020 Toyota Camry, pulled in front of the location; at this time, he was approached by an unidentified individual. The two engaged in a unknown verbal dispute, which escalated into a physical encounter.
The victim attempted to drive away, at which time the individual displayed a firearm and shot the victim in the head, before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim exited the car and fell to the ground.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. The incident has now been deemed a Homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

The suspect is described as a male, Black, with medium complexion, thin build, short dark hair and a full beard.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
