Three Bronx Museum AIM Alumni Awarded The Guggenheim Fellowship

Last week the new Guggenheim Fellows were announced and three Bronx Museum AIM alumni were awarded the fellowship.

They are Angel Navarez – 2000, Leslie Hewitt – 2005, and Victoria Idongesit Udondian – 2018.

Also included was Sanford Biggers whose show Codeswitch is opening at the Bronx Museum later this year, as well as Eric Gottesman who was honored at our 2019 Gala for social justice work through For Freedoms, a creative collective he co-founded.
