Police in Bronx are searching for a man they say attempted to rape a woman.
They released a sketch of the man on Wednesday night.
It happened on Sunday around 1 a.m. as the woman was walking near Westchester and Metcalf avenues in the Soundview section.
Police say the suspect approached the 34-year-old woman from behind, put a knife to her neck and stole her purse.
Then then suspect dragged her into an alleyway and forcibly touched her under her skirt.
The woman generic for ativan pill identification screamed and the suspect ran off.
The victim went to Jacobi Hospital for an evaluation.
The suspect is described as approximately 20-25 years of age, 5’9″-5’11”, 170-190 lbs., dark complexion, last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.
