Help Identify A Burglary Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, shown in the attached surveillance video clip in connection with a commercial burglary, which took place within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

The details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at approximately 0035 hours at 2467 Jerome Avenue, an unidentified male entered the location, which is under construction, and removed tools totaling approximately $4,500.

The male is seen pushing a generator on the sidewalk in the attached video, which he had taken from the location.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
