On Monday, January 13, 2025, at approximately 1029 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided, found inside a private ambulette bus, at 201 Castle Hill Avenue, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 64-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with trauma about the body.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the aided male deceased at the scene.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 29-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on January 17, 2025 at 1657 hours, within the confines of the 43rd Precinct.

Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- manslaughter in the 1st degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree;
- criminal possession of controlled substance in the 5th degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
