Saquran Curtis, 32, Arrested For The Murder Of Jason Hooks, 36

On Friday, June 11, 2021 at approximately 1611 hours, police responded to a call of a male, shot in the vicinity of Crimmins Avenue and E. 141st Street, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old male, lying unconscious and unresponsive on the side of 593 Oak Terrace, with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

EMS responded and transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 32-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged.
