On Thursday, August 19, 2021, at approximately 0318 hours, police responded to a call of a person, stabbed inside an apartment at 2115 Honeywell Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed two victims with stab wounds.
Victim #1, a 57-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to his body and victim #2, a 66-year-old female with stab wounds to her right forearm.
EMS responded to the scene and transported both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital, where victim #2 is listed in stable condition, and victim #1 succumb to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation an individual has been taken in custody for the above-listed incident with charges pending.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
