On Sunday, June 23, 2024, at approximately 2254 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 526B Willis Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 54-year-old male with a laceration to the face.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln in stable condition.
On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
