Police are looking for a man they say violently robbed an elderly man last week in the Bronx.
Officials say it happened last friday.
The suspect came up behind the 79-year-old victim in the vestibule of a building on Hoe Avenue, put him in a choke hold and robbed him of cash and other items before running off.
The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect is described as being a black male between 18 and 24 years old, 5’10” tall, and weighing 200 to 220 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, blue jeans, and a dark-colored baseball hat.
