On Saturday, March 26, 2022, at approximately 1043 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided inside 1465 Washington Avenue, Morris Houses, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct / PSA 7 in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the torso.
EMS responded and transported the male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
