On Friday, August 27, 2021, at approximately 0928 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot at 234 E. 149th Street, NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln.
Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was standing in the vicinity of 137th Street and St. Ann’s Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx, when he was shot in the chest multiple times by an unknown individual.
The victim was transported to the hospital by private means, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, a 17-year-old male individual was arrested and charged on Friday, September 03, 2021, at 1600 hours in the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.
Charges:
- murder in the 2nd degree;
- criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
