Police have released surveillance images of two men, wanted in connection with a robbery, which occurred in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx.
According to police, the two suspects approached a man, who was drinking coffee outside 723 Burke Avenue, which is a nail salon, around 05:20 on Friday morning.
The first suspect brandished a gun and demanded money from the victim.
The victim tossed his coffee at one of the men, prompting one suspect to hold down the victim, while the other went into the salon and took several thousand dollars in cash, police said.
The men then ran off.
The first suspect is identified by police only as a Black man between the ages of 20 and 30, between five-foot-five to five-foot-ten with a medium build.
Suspect two is identified as a Black man between the ages of 25 and 30, between five-foot-ten and six-foot-one and wearing an orange reflective vest.
