This interactive map of New York City’s five boroughs’ 3,536 murders since 2003 offers dynamic data queries and statistics.

The map is courtesy of The New York Times and could be viewed here. Each dot on the map represent the location of a murder. Move your cursor over each dot to get information about the victim’s sex, age, ethnicity and murder weapon. Searching by zip code is also possible.
