On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at approximately 1054 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a residential fire at 869 Fox Avenue, within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival police discovered three injured victims.
Victim #1, an 82-year-old female was removed to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
Victim #2, a 68-year-old female was transported to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
Victim #3, a 77-year-old female was transported to Jacobi Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Five (5) police officers were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
