A livery cab crashed into a Bronx home after colliding with a van early Monday morning.

At about 08:20 a.m., a black livery cab collided into a van and slammed into the garage of a white house located at 1403 Taylor Avenue, at the corner of Cross Bronx Service Road North.

The cab was traveling at a high enough speed to take down the white metal fence surrounding the corner property before slamming through the garage.

The driver of the livery cab was trapped inside the vehicle and was rescued by firefighters.

The driver is believed to be the only injury reported at the scene, but reports stated a second person may have been hurt as well.

Investigators will determine the exact cause of the car collision and consequent crash into the Bronx house.
