On Wednesday, September 05, 2018, at approximately 0319 hours, police responded to Bronx Lebanon Hospital regarding a male walk-in gunshot wound victim.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head, in critical condition.
It was learned that the incident has taken place at the corner of Selwyn Avenue and E. 172nd Street, within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.
The victim later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 17-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Wednesday, September 05, 2018, at 2005 hours.
