On Monday, May 6, 2019, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will host a media preview and celebration to kick-off Bronx Week 2019 at The Lit. Bar, 131 Alexander Avenue, Bronx, NY 10454. Doors open at 11:00 a.m., program begins at 11:30 a.m.
As a highlight of the event, Borough President Diaz and The Bronx Tourism Council will announce the three honorees of the Bronx Walk of Fame Class of 2019.
Since 1997, the Bronx Walk of Fame has served as the premier honor that can be bestowed upon any Bronx native, with past luminaries including Prince Royce, Chazz Palmintieri, Fat Joe, Swizz Beats and others.
The celebration will feature samples of some of the best offerings The Bronx has to offer from businesses including Bronx Native, Bronx Brewery, Ceetay, and Gino’s Pastry Shop.
Now in its 48th year, Bronx Week is the annual celebration of everything that makes The Bronx a great place to live, work and raise a family.
