On Sunday, April 02, 2017 at approximately 0231 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female in front of 761 E. 214th Street, within the confines of the 47th Precinct in Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 26-year-old female, with a gunshot wound to her head.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 51-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged:

Charges:
- murder
- criminal possession of a weapon
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
