On Sunday, June 9, 2024, at approximately 1737, hours police responded to a 911 call of a male, shot in the vicinity of Sacket Avenue and Williamsbridge Road, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers observed a 29-year-old male, with sustained gunshot wounds to the head and chest.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
