On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at approximately 0939 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress inside 1007-09 E. 174th Street, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
