On Friday, May 15, 2020, at approximately 0227 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot inside 4439 3rd Avenue, within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the male victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Pursuant to the ongoing investigation, two male individuals have been taken into custody, with charges pending.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
