A 21-year-old has been arrested after posting a photo of himself holding a pistol next to a police car on social media.

The threatening photo shows a man believed to be Bronx resident Kevin Rodriguez, 21, posing with a pistol in his right hand as another man peers into the passenger window of the NYPD patrol car.

An officer came across the photo on social media Friday, sparking a manhunt in the New York City neighborhood of Bronx.

The photo was shared among the police community on social media by a concerned cop.

It was caption: “Allegedly taken today. Stay on your f***ing toes. Always be cognizant of your surroundings. Our safety glass and ballistic panels are an illusion. SHARE IT.”

Police said they found the man, who they believe to be Rodriguez, holding the gun in the photo in Parkchester at around 2am on Sunday.

He was reportedly wearing the same sagging orange pants as in the photo.

Rodriguez was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and making terroristic threats.

Police are still searching for the second man in the photo.
