On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at approximately 0210 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a residential fire inside of 3215 Arlington Avenue, Apt. 2A, within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival and extinguishment of the fire by FDNY personnel, officers observed an 84-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, within the bedroom of the apartment.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the aided male deceased at the scene.
The Fire Marshal will determine the cause of the fire and the investigation remains ongoing.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
