On Thursday, April 13, 2023, at approximately 1207 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male, stabbed at Bainbridge Avenue and E. Mosholu Parkway North, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 53-year-old male with stab wounds to the torso.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, in serious condition.
The victim was released from the hospital on Monday, April 24, 2023, and was discovered, via wellness check, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in his residence, within the bedroom area, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the aided male deceased at the scene.
As a result of the death, the Medical Examiner conducted an investigation. The incident has been deemed a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 51-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 1255 hours, within the confines of the 52nd Precinct.

Charges:
- assault;
- menacing;
- attempted murder;
- criminal possession on a weapon.
The investigation remains ongoing.
All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
