The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to an assault, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at approximately 2330 hours, in the vicinity of Grant Avenue and E. 169th Street, the individual shot the 22-year-old male victim once in his torso, while he was in the rear passenger position of a vehicle.

The individual fled the scene on foot northbound on Grant Avenue.

The victim was taken to Bronxcare Health System by private means, where he listed as being in stable condition.

The individual is described as a male, black, who wore a white tank top, yellow shorts and black sneakers.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
