The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a homicide, that occurred within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
On Wednesday, July 06, 2022, at approximately 2339 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an assault with a knife in the vicinity of East Gun Hill Road and Seymour Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 30-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive inside a vehicle, with stab wounds about the body, in front of 1381 E. Gun Hill Road.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced victim deceased at the scene.
Further investigation revealed the victim was involved in a dispute with another male at Schorr Place and Eastchester Road, when he is stabbed by the suspect.
The victim then entered the vehicle and attempted to drive from the location, before striking a pole at 1381 E. Gun Hill Road and coming to a rest thereat.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
